Aims & Scope
IJLSBR publishes original research, review articles, short communications, and case reports in all areas of life sciences and biotechnology. Submissions must present original, unpublished work that advances the field, employs sound scientific methodology, and is written for a broad multidisciplinary scientific audience.
Subject areas include — but are not limited to — molecular biology, genomics, cell biology, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, agricultural biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, cancer biology, neuroscience, and synthetic biology.
Article Types & Word Limits
- Original Research Article — 4,000–8,000 words including references
- Review Article — 6,000–12,000 words
- Short Communication — 2,000–4,000 words
- Case Report — 1,500–3,000 words
- Letter to the Editor — 800–1,500 words
Submission Process
Prepare
Format your manuscript per IJLSBR guidelines. Anonymise all author identifiers for blind review.
Submit
Upload via the IJLSBR portal or email to info@datarsoftpublishing.com with a covering letter.
Review
Double-blind peer review by two domain experts; first decision within 14 days.
Publish
Copyediting, DOI assignment, blockchain record, and online publication within 14 days of acceptance.
Manuscript Preparation
Format & Length
- MS Word (.docx) only — do not submit PDF at first submission.
- A4, single column, 1.5 line-spacing, Times New Roman 12pt.
- Continuous line numbering throughout.
- Fully anonymised manuscript file — no author names, affiliations, or acknowledgements.
Required Sections
- Title (≤ 20 words)
- Abstract (200–250 words; structured: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
- Keywords (5–8, lowercase, comma-separated)
- Introduction
- Materials & Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Declarations (ethics, funding, conflicts of interest)
- References — APA 7th edition or Vancouver style
Figures, Tables & Data
Submit figures separately as high-resolution TIFF or PNG (≥ 300 dpi for halftones; ≥ 600 dpi for line art). Tables must be editable. Gel images and micrographs must be accompanied by scale bars and magnification details.
All animal or human subject research must include institutional ethics committee approval. GenBank / DDBJ / NCBI accession numbers must be included for sequence data. Raw data must be available on request.
Article Processing Charge
IJLSBR charges a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) to support open-access publishing, editorial operations, and blockchain record-keeping. Waiver and discount policies are available for authors from low-income countries and for invited review articles. After Acceptance
- Language and copyediting by the IJLSBR production team
- Typeset proofs sent to the corresponding author (48-hour response required)
- DOI assigned and metadata deposited with Crossref
