Peer Review Policy
IJLSBR operates a double-blind peer-review process — author and reviewer identities are kept confidential from each other throughout. Each submission is initially screened by the editorial office for scope, originality, and basic scientific soundness, before being assigned to two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
Reviewers are requested to return their assessments within 14 days. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on the reviews and the journal's standards. Decisions include: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
Open Access
IJLSBR is a fully open-access journal. All articles are immediately and permanently free to read, download, share, and reuse upon publication under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence. Authors retain full copyright in their work.
Under CC BY 4.0, anyone may reproduce, distribute, and adapt the work for any purpose, including commercial use, provided the original authors are appropriately credited.
Publication Ethics
IJLSBR adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Core Practices and the ICMJE guidelines for biomedical research. Authors, reviewers, and editors are bound by these standards.
Author Responsibilities
- Submit only original, unpublished work not under concurrent consideration elsewhere.
- Disclose all authors who have contributed significantly to the work.
- Obtain and document all necessary ethics approvals.
- Disclose all funding sources and potential conflicts of interest.
- Retain primary data for at least five years and provide on request.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts under review.
- Declare any conflicts of interest and recuse if necessary.
- Provide fair, constructive, and timely assessments.
Research Misconduct
IJLSBR takes a firm stance on fabrication, falsification, plagiarism (including image manipulation), duplicate publication, and authorship misconduct. All submissions are screened using plagiarism-detection software. Confirmed misconduct may result in retraction, notification of the authors' institutions, and a permanent publishing ban.
Copyright & Licensing
Authors retain copyright in their work. By submitting to IJLSBR, authors grant Datarsoft Publishing House the right to publish, distribute, and archive the article under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence.
Blockchain Verification
IJLSBR records each article's key lifecycle events — submission receipt, peer-review completion, editorial decision, acceptance, and online publication — as immutable entries on a public blockchain. This provides independent, tamper-proof verification of the peer-review timeline and publication date for every article.
Blockchain-verified article lifecycles make IJLSBR one of the most transparent peer-reviewed journals in the life sciences domain — offering authors and readers unprecedented confidence in the integrity of published research.
Archiving & Preservation
IJLSBR articles are archived for long-term digital preservation with multiple redundant systems. DOI metadata is deposited with Crossref to ensure persistent linking.
Data Sharing
IJLSBR strongly encourages authors to deposit primary data in appropriate public repositories (e.g. GenBank, DDBJ, PDB, NCBI SRA, Zenodo, figshare) and include accession numbers in the manuscript. All sequence and structural data submitted for publication must be deposited before acceptance.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
IJLSBR is a fully open-access journal. To sustain open-access publishing, editorial operations, DOI registration, and blockchain record-keeping, the journal levies a transparent Article Processing Charge only on accepted manuscripts. There are no submission fees and no charge to read, download, or reuse any article.
Fee waivers and discounts are available for authors from low-income economies and for invited review articles. The APC is payable only after acceptance — never as a condition of peer review. For current rates and waiver applications, contact info@datarsoftpublishing.com.

The names, email addresses, and affiliations entered on this site and in the submission process are used solely for the stated purposes of this journal — managing peer review, publication, and correspondence — and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any third party.
